  • Opinions are always welcome on my end, be it crazy or logical, if you can't handle other people's viewpoints, then you best not use internet forums/bloggs at all. No one's thoughts are "useless", but contribute to the overall discussion.

  • Segdirb, I think what these kids are doing is the adage "If I'm gonna go out, I'm going to go out with a bang" not a "whimper". It is logically and morally wrong, but there you have it, teenagers rarely think of the consequences and even if they do, most don't really care.

  • Wouldn't lung cancer be more of an issue in NYC because of the vehicles? I've even heard coal refineries also contribute to carbon monoxide. So they should ban all vehicles, refineries,or anything like camp fires to cut down the carbon monoxide.

  • I must agree with "the TiGor", once again. He isn't making excuses for the teacher, but rather looking at the situation "objectively", something we all should have learned to do in college.

  • Jeez, now I know how it can be abused! I thought doing something like pawning a medicaid scooter would be illegal!!! We need to stop all Medicaid NOW.. revamp the system, and then slowly add people to the list of "insured". Otherwise this problem will persist to the bitter end.

  • No, just human nature.. its easier to balance a check book when it isn't in the red, but once it does hit the red, boy, watch out! ;) We as a species have always gone to "what is easy" than "what is right". The "assembly line" is a perfect example of this.
